Transforming Canada

Canadian xenophobia has hit an all time high. Racial driven hate crimes are on the rise and the root cause is the out of control immigration system. Too many TFWs (Temporary Foreign Workers). Indians are taking over. 

I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing. The cultural landscape of Canada is always evolving. It went from a barren land around 20,000 years ago to sacred land populated by the indigenous migrating from Asia through a land bridge connected Russia and Alaska around 10,000 years ago. Transformation continued with the arrival of the European colonizers and its subsequent power struggle with the indigenous. The colonizers won and installed a new European based power structure and infrastructure to support it. 

Globalization is has reignited (and accelerated) Canada's transformation once again. We're seeing a change of masters, a re-shuffling of the power structure, in my opinion. Racialized groups like myself are slowly taking over the current positions of authority and when this transition has completed, we'll be a whole different type of Canada. Whether it is to the development or detriment of Canada, we'll just have to find out.
